Beyond the Ordinary

This project is focused on the Venetian Ghetto. Our goal is to preserve the many different stories of the Venetian ghetto. This is important because within the ghetto, there are hundreds and hundreds of years of history of a resilient group of people who have fought oppression and other stressors. The story of the Venetian Jews is very important

Special Thanks

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Beatrice Scuotto for her thesis, La capacità rigenerativa di Elsa Campos. Appartenenze e migrazioni (1912–1986) for Università Ca' Foscari. Her research provided valuable historical insight and scholarly depth, helping to inform and strengthen the foundation of this project.

We are also grateful to ADEI WIZO for their continued commitment to preserving Jewish heritage and supporting educational initiatives. Their resources and dedication to cultural memory contributed meaningfully to our research and understanding.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Associazione Figli della Shoah for their invaluable contributions to this research. Their dedication to preserving the memory and history of the Holocaust provided essential context and depth to this project. Through their educational efforts and commitment to remembrance, they helped ensure that this work remains grounded in accuracy, respect, and historical significance.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge the historical significance of the Venetian Ghetto. As one of the most important sites in Jewish history, it offered critical context and perspective that enriched the narrative and scope of this work.
